CFA’s 2012 Paleo / Fitness Challenge

Rules of the Paleo Challenge:

  • Dates:  Oct 14th to Nov 11th
  • Must Weigh In
  • Must Measure Waist Size
  • Three WOD Tests During Week 1 & 3 WOD Retests During Week 4
  • Thirty days NO Cheating – you are only cheating yourselves!!!!!

ONE WINNER (unless there is a tie & we’ll figure it out later… flip cup anyone?!?!)

 WHAT CAN I EAT?  Stock your pantry, fridge & freezer with these:  REAL FOOD aka…

  • BACON!!!!!!!
  • Meat
  • Seafood
  • Eggs
  • Tons of vegetables
  • Some fruit
  • Good fats from oils, nuts & seeds.

Eat foods with very few ingredients, all pronounceable ingredients, or better yet, no ingredients listed at all because they’re totally natural and unprocessed.   (Well said,, well said)

Throw these out!!! or donate unopened ones to local food bank

  • NO grains (this means corn, wheat, rice, quinoa, etc.)
  • NO legumes
  • NO dairy*
  • Nothing processed
  • NO added sugar (not even maple syrup, sorry)
  • NO artificial sweeteners

 *Exceptions: Grass-fed butter or ghee is OK.
